Montauk Point Lighthouse

Lighthouse #3

Location: Montauk, New York

Time Visited: June 10 2021

Built: 1796

This light house started with Terry and Haley and myself getting to see this amazing lighthouse sitting on a hill while out fishing on the Alyssa Ann out of Mantauk. Haley showed off her incredible fishing skills against the lighthouse backdrop. The next day the rest of the crew (Mary Nell, Kate, Lizzie and Gwen) made our way to the brown and white striped lighthouse to see it up close. Of Course followed by icecream.

Lighthouse Shout Out

This one goes to Kate Williams.

Kate lives her life as a lighthouse shining to some of those in the greatest need.  As a special education teacher she lives it out in the classroom lifting up families and students in the love lived out as a verb. Getting in the fight to shine light into children by seeing the beauty in all of them facing life with these challenges many of us take for granted.  Kate you are loved and thanks for being a beacon of light for us all to learn from!
